October Six Café Bistró - San Jose

Nice spot and friendly service but the portion size is ridiculously small for the price. Got the American breakfast and you get two scrambled eggs, 3 tiny slices of baguette bread, some slivers of bacon and ham, and some chopped tomato mix in a little cup. Smallest breakfast I had in a month in Costa Rica and cost 5,500 CRC. A shame as it was tasty, the service was nice and it’s a cosy spot. They just need to double the serving!

What a really nice little café... Ok, before I say how much I enjoyed eating there those two morning, yes the portion are kinda small, but personally, I don't mind, their food is delicious, I saw someone critic the coffee, I have nothing to say, coffee was excellent, orange juice too, I mean look, if you are tight on cash and want to stuff your face to the max than this is probably not the place for you, but if you want to eat a somewhat small but satisfying breakfast with enough energy to sustain you until lunch, I'd go, it's situated in a really nice part of the neighbourhood too... I recommend.

The best shrimp tacos I have ever eaten are just one of the delicious choices at this charming small place. Owner/chef Michel has created a varied menu. The location on a quiet tree-covered corner in colorful Barrio Amon is peaceful is a perfect spot to absorb the atmosphere of San Jose's most beautiful neighbirhood.and eat great food.The batido de piña is sunshne in a glass.

We had two “sano”burgers. Presentation was promising, but very little portions and the taste was poor due to cheap ingredients. It didn’t taste very “healthy”. Price/quality isn’t what it should be.

Very cute spot. I got coffee and sat outside and read . I enjoyed the atmosphere and staff was friendly . Inside and outside tables , good prices and nice energy!
