La Fuente De Los Mariscos - San Jose

We dined at this restaurant based on a recommendation from a hotel staff member at Best Western Irazu on the road. We have limited knowledge of Spanish and our waiter had basic English skills. Due to my food restrictions, I had to ask many questions to ensure the safety of my meal. With a combination of English and Spanish, we were able to communicate effectively. My partner ordered calamari and I ordered a grilled fish dish. Both dishes were exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of my seafood grill, discovering new types of seafood with each bite. My partner claimed it was the best calamari he had ever tasted. We found the prices to be very reasonable and our waiter was attentive. We arrived for dinner early and there were only a few other tables occupied at the time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

This small bar is excellent and cozy, with great food and snacks, and friendly staff.

Good taste. Great service. Not the bes seafood in town

This restaurant is very reasonably priced with a diverse and extensive menu. The atmosphere is great, and the people are beautiful. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the BBQ sauce was deliciously sweet with a unique brownish hue. I would definitely come back to try more items on the menu as there are so many interesting options to choose from.
