La Bodega De Cocinart - San Jose

My favourite place in Costa Rica for lunch. The salad is out of this world and the apple pie is on par with your mothers. Treated like a prince and fed like a king.

I have had some incredible food experiences at La Bodega. Every dish, soup, and salad I tried was a delicious and fulfilling experience. Although the restaurant is closed on weekends (which I appreciate for their well-deserved break), I purchased several meals, including an apple pie shaped like an apple with homemade ice cream that I am excited to try later today. The Spinach soup, Eggplant lasagna, and Gnocchi were all so delicious that I am already contemplating how I can get my hands on them after I leave on Monday. The only downside was when I finished each plate or bowl - I didn't want it to end. You will not be disappointed with the food here. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm, friendly, and they genuinely enjoy engaging in conversations with you. Thank you Marcella, Pricilla, and Connie for the love and care you put into every dish.

This dining experience was absolutely fantastic! The cozy ambiance, attentive staff, and incredibly fresh homemade food made with ingredients from the restaurant's garden were all exceptional. The owner personally took our order, provided recommendations, and made us feel like we were dining at a beloved family member's home. It was a top-notch meal in a warm and inviting atmosphere, creating a truly unforgettable dining experience.

Cute little place. Amazing food, great service. Is a small quaint place, you may miss it off not looking carefully.
