It's been at the table half an hour since our order. No food and no one was to ask if we want more drinks... Very disappointing. Mark
Despite people eating and the menus displayed, after having sat down for 20 minutes the waitress finally came, served someone who sat down after us and then came and told us the kitchen was closed. It was only 2130. Apparently if we were staying in their associated hotel they would have been open. Not a good experience.
We were a party of 14 who ate lunch at Le Terrazze. We all ordered off the menu and all 14 thought the food was great. Having eaten pizza all over Italy I have to rave about the pizza I ordered. It was the white pizza with mozzarella, gorgonzola, prosciutto and fresh figs. OMG It was the best pizza I have ever eaten. The crust was paper thin but very crispy. The dining room has a great view and nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit when in San Gimignano.
It's a crowded area. It was nice to find a place, eat pizza and drink prosecco.
