7 Tigres - San Gil

Sometimes tripadvisor reviews can be so misleading. How anyone could class this as a great pizza? It was just an oily mess on a plate and the dough was very bland. There are much better pizzas available in San Gil. In the time we were there, the owner spent most of her time outside of the restaurant smoking. Which is disgusting in my opinion when you have guests in the restaurant. The pasta dish was very watery so overall nothing was good

After seeing the Trip Advisor rating and pictures for 7 Tigres we thought we’d try it. We fancied the look of the spaghetti and salads. Sadly there wasn’t any salads on the menu so we just went with the vegetarian spaghetti and chicken mushroom spaghetti. The atmosphere and the owners were nice, but we were quite disappointed by the quality of our pasta dishes. The sauces were very watery and the vegetables weren’t really cooked the celery was still very crunchy in mine). We also weren’t offered any Parmesan or black pepper : I know it’s Columbia but if you’re running Pizza Pasta place they’re a must! Im frustrated with Trip Advisor because it doesn’t give a balanced view of places, it makes average places look fantastic! This place was OK but they don’t know how to make great pasta sauce so maybe just go for the Pizza is you try this restaurant. A note to the restaurant: Thanks for hosting us, your place has a great atmosphere and the pizzas do look good. Please just work on your pasta sauces if you’re going to offer them as part of your menu and always offer condiments like salt pepper Parmesan cheese as they really enhance spaghetti dishes! I hope you find this useful advice! Thank you.

Very low quality pizza. We were very hungry but couldn’t even finish it among us two, it was that bad.

We went here twice while in San Gil. We are vegetarian and this is one of the best spots that had options for us. The pizza is thin crust and made with fresh local ingredients. The veggie lasagna is amazing and is huge.

A lovely little restaurant located right near the central plaza in san Gil. Only a few tables in the restaurant so it has a really cozy feel and the right level of music created a good atmosphere. Pizzas were delicious and we found that 1 mediana pizza was sufficient to share between 2, which meant it also offered great value for money. Well worth a visit if you are in san Gil for the evening.
