Faro Del Morro

We ate lunch here but it would be great for an early sunset dinner too. The food was great four free appetizers with chips. Coconut shrimp, and fried plantains. Not the cheapest spot but the location was perfect. Pelicans were diving into the sea around us. We could see the fish swimming in the water.

I visited Campeche for business recently and was looking for “the place” with the best local dishes and location. A visited a couple of the more high-end places in the city and although offered a few more comforts...these weren’t all that. El Faro del Morro truly blew me away in food, friendly service, view and experience. It reminded me of the local beach front places in Cinque Terre or Spain. Got to meet the owner and her family and they were super nice. A must try destination if you are in the area. They also have full marina services if looking to rent a boat or other type of water type activities. Keep going!!! Tony

If you are looking for a place where locals dine, this is it! The food is very tasty, though they could work a bit on improving their interior design.

The Faro del Morro is a very nice place to eat and it is located very close to the sea.. the food is very good... the shrimp tortilla is excellent, the fish and shrimp dishes are excellent too.... To feel sea wind while you are eating or drinking is a nice experience...

This place is great. I had lunch here, and ate the best, most fresh Mexican sea food. I liked it so much I came back for dinner. We at excellent food, with a great ambiance and service. Actually the service at lunch was superb as well. Highly recommended.
