They definitely do not skimp on the sauce—I appreciated the generous amount, and the quality was top-notch. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish the mozzarella cheese had been hotter and more melted; that would have made it even better. Overall, I'd rate this pizza a solid 9/10, and I highly recommend trying the Margherita if you enjoy pizza with lots of sauce and mozzarella cheese. I also loved the basil—it added an amazing aroma and taste. This is genuinely great pizza, and if I return to San Francisco, I will definitely come back here!

We had to stop into Tony’s to try the coal fired pizza. Unfortunately they don’t do coal fired by the slice so just got a regular slice of cheese pizza. It was decent… I’d give it a 6.1 One Bite score. Good slice
The California vegetarian pizza is surprisingly good ! And not very greasy at all!
The New York-style pizza here is fantastic, with generous slice sizes that make the price reasonable. While there isn't much to mention about the take-out window, there are a few outdoor tables, and the area is bustling with pizza lovers.
