The Starlight Room - San Francisco

I wanted to like this place, but I'm a little disappointed. I understand now that it's just a lounge and not a dinner spot came here.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were informed that they do not utilize OpenTable and that we did not have a reservation. Unfortunately, they were unable to accommodate us, even though it was 8 o'clock on a Saturday night in San Francisco. We were advised to wait for an hour before we could be seated in the restaurant. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our experience.

Upon arriving at Lizzie's Starlight Room, we were turned away. Despite being listed on Open Table, Lizzie's Starlight Room does not accept reservations through the platform. This resulted in both an embarrassing and costly situation, as we had already paid for an Uber to get there and another one to return home. It is unclear who is at fault here - Lizzie's or Open Table. This experience has made us hesitate to book through Open Table in the future, and we have learned the importance of calling the restaurant directly to confirm our reservation. In the end, it seems more sensible to just call the restaurant to make a reservation rather than relying on Open Table.frustrating.

In our original reservation we had a party of four, we ended up with five people, the Maître D was more than happy to accommodate us. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We had a fantastic night, I would recommend the Starlight Room to anyone looking for a fun night out.
