Pier Market Seafood - San Francisco

This place was recommended to us and we loved him! We started with drinks and an appetizer. My Jalapeno Margarita was excellent and the Calamari was the best I ever had. My friend enjoyed the oysters. I have the crab cakes for my meal and they were good, but I think I was spoiled in Baltimore. My friend also enjoyed her triple shrimp dish. We ate outside and enjoyed watching the sun and people. I definitely recommend!

Blame it to google maps for my disappointment but I expected a whole crab when I ordered the crab (like what I saw in photos on Google Maps). Came in pieces and without head. Also a bit old and salty cost. But I liked the bub; made for some funny photos. The crab cakes were delicious! The best cake I've ever had. The Chowder was tasty, even if there weren't really pieces of anything in it. The staff was nice. I wish there was a barrier against the table next to us/above a level. The cartridge pulled up at his lobster tail and fell on our table. Drinks and food are affordable, but I wish the food was better overall tasting.

Delicious seas! Had the Clam-Chowder in a sourdough dish and the whole crab with garlic potatoes. We were so filled! The service was great and we had a beautiful view of the bay and the sunset. The cocktails were also good! The place is definitely touristic but and not super 'up-scale' so consider this. But I really enjoyed it!

Eat fantastic. It is a pretty tourist area and it feels like it might not be so great because, but the food was excellent!! Maybe I had the best Calamari. The garlic bread was huge and delicious. Crab, excellent!! The sweet and acidic sauce with the Calamari was also really good. The staff was friendly and the restaurant is quite large. Beautiful view of the sea and a good menu selection. There is a terrace and interiors with huge windows, so it has a really great mood. Very recommended!!

My girlfriend and I were seated right next to the water which was an absolute delight for us. Our server was Chad. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the Sweet and sour calamari, new England clam chowder and the Lobster tails. Everything was delicious! I don't know why that other dude said the Calamari tasted like chicken tenders(it didn't) but I thought it was one of the best ones I've ever had.
