Pakwan - San Francisco

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant! It's definitely underrated and I would definitely return with a large group. The food gets a perfect score of 5 out of 5.

I haven't had much exposure to Pakistani or Indian cuisine (besides curries), but this restaurant hits the spot for me. The lamb biryani was tasty, the tandoori chicken leg was moist, and the garlic naan was soft and flavorful. Plus, the price is very reasonable - the lamb biryani can easily feed 4 people. It's a great value and the food is delicious!

I absolutely enjoy their seekh kabab with naan at this Halal Pakistani restaurant. It is incredibly delicious!

I’m a vegan and ordered chana masala and vegetable samosas. The chickpeas were hard and barely edible because they weren’t cooked thoroughly and the gravy was so watery. The samosas weren’t very good either, but I was hungry and ate them. When I called to tell them about the chana masala and that I was too far to drive all the way back, I honestly expected a refund for an undercooked, watery dish, but the guy told me that I could only get a credit for next time, but I wasn’t even planning on ordering from them again. If it was delicious but just undercooked, I would’ve made the long trip back, but I’m also recovering from cancer treatment and wasn’t going to get on the road again to replace a dish that wasn’t good. I am staying an airbnb and was really looking forward to having this meal, but I can’t even eat the main dish. It also doesn’t come with rice like every other restaurant gives with this dish. So I paid for something that I can’t even eat and cannot believe they won’t give a refund. I don’t plan on going back, so the credit doesn’t help.

Starting with the good thing the portion of pakoda was huge in compare to price and the tamarind chutney was really good. I like the tea too was perfect.However i was expecting more vegetable and less chick pea batter on pakoda but it was opposite. I would barely see any veggies. samosa was disappointing the base was not crunchy at all and the some parts on bottom was not cook properly.
