On The Bridge - San Francisco

I visited this restaurant in-person once and really enjoyed it. Even though I live just a few blocks away, it's hard for me to go back due to a disability. I was excited to try their takeout option, but I was let down by the portion size, temperature, and flavor. I'll make an effort to visit in-person next time.

This restaurant is fantastic! Located in Japantown Center, it's the perfect spot to avoid long wait times at other restaurants. The wait here is very short, especially if you're dining alone, thanks to the bar seating. The classic curry is delicious and consistent. While it may not be fancy, you can always count on a great meal here!

This restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that really makes you feel like you're in Japan! I loved the vibe with the plushies and Ghibli movies playing on the small TVs. The food was also comforting and tasty. It might not be the most refined Japanese cuisine, but it's satisfying and filling. The fact that the restaurant is located on a bridge adds to the experience, allowing you to enjoy people-watching while you dine.

Excellent karaage curry, and the staff is super nice!

It was okay food. Great spot if you want a lot of sake and beer options! We had the Locomoco and the Tofu Don and while it was okay, it wasn't awe inspiring and need to go back. It was good and we were hungry so it worked out fine. The service was good. He didn't hover and was friendly enough when he interacted with us, but he didn't go out of his way to be bubble all that much.
