Mikkeller - San Francisco

Mikkeller was recommended by my Danish friends, it is a Danish brand, hence the Danish cartoon and industrial decorations. Always good beers, I love sour beers, so this is my happy place. Burgers and fries are always good with beer drinking. Prices are fair. The location is so central, that makes Mikkeller a good place for after work drink, quick bite when visiting from out of town, or friends get-together, as they have some large tables to commentate. I go to Mikkeller whenever I feel like it, and I feel like it a lot.

It's no surprise that this place receives such excellent reviews. They offer a wide selection of beers and even provided us with five samples tailored to our preferences, ultimately leading us to the hipster option, which was exceptional and served at the perfect temperature. However, their wine selection was somewhat limited. The food was fantastic. We ordered the Chicken Mango Jalapeño Sausage Sandwich and the Veggie Portobello Sandwich, and both sandwiches, along with the fries, were delicious. This is definitely a must-visit spot if you're looking for a high-quality bar with great beer choices, delicious food, and a beautiful atmosphere.

Fantastic bartender led me through her expansive beer list, made me very welcome and led me to my new favorite Artery Blocking Snack, bacon wrapped deep bratwurst bites. I recommend this place and my only regret is not my barkeeper's name, so I could send the restaurant a grateful email about it.

Mikkeller was great, a little slow on the service side, but what place is not today. Not a great place for a lack of staff. I would highly recommend it! Great beers and good food.

Love the beer selection, the bites and the vibe. This place is one of the reasons why I stay in this neighborhood when I visit SF. It is a great place to meet with friends, or to sit at the bar at talk times and read a book about a great design beer and a delicious snack. I love that the menu lists all beers with the temperature and then also has a short description of everyone; and the industrial-chic decor still manages to be inviting.
