Maru Sushi San Francisco

Wow! The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell of clean fryer oil. Our server was very attentive. They nailed our order as we quickly rattled it off. The sushi was super fresh and delicious. Only about 10 minutes after we ordered it was on the table. The price was very reasonable. From left to right: Swamp Roll, Dragon Roll, Yum Yum Roll, Spider Roll. I also got an Amaebi and a glass of wine with a 20% tip for $100. It doesn't get better than that. The Swamp Roll was my favorite and the Yum Yum Roll was my wife's favorite. Really fantastic all around.

I was here for the first time last night, i loved this place. Food very fresh and tasty, the service was great. Restaurant not too big but is lovely. Everything was very Clean, prices very affordable and portions well distributed, i will definitely be back. Location is very closed to downtown about 3-4 blocks and also pretty closed to Chinatown

What a little gem! We were told about this place through a friend and were very happy to have had the recommendation. We started off with a cool and delicious, dry sake. We shared Dragon rolls as our appetizer and then each had a chicken udon soup. Turns out it was a cold night so the soup hit the spot. The chicken was tender and juicy and the broth had a perfect flavor. It'll be a soup I turn to anytime I feel the need for a home cooked meal. Once they explained the dessert I couldn't resist! Green tea ice cream surrounded by banana tempura. Simply heaven

Small place and noisy when busy. Had take out. Called ahead and the order was ready by the time I walked there from hotel. Staff was friendly. The sushi seemed fresh and all was very good. Prices about what you would expect. Worth the visit and worthy of a return visit.

The sushi was so fresh and tasty. I strongly recommend the Romeo Juliette. Such wonderful flavor. Server was really nice and the food came out quick. One of our best sushi experiences in SF.
