Pros: Only thing I can say is that the price of the dishes were low (remember, sometimes you get what you pay for); seating inside; the chrysanthemum tea was nice because they give you the actual chrysanthemum (you'll see what I mean if you dare to go there for the food) Cons: It's in SF so no parking spaces and getting a parking ticket will expensive (be forewarned); tables and chairs were sticky and floor was very dirty; menus looked very old and even dirtier than the floor; no employees and the managers/owners were not customer friendly and they were also the cooks (need I say more); dishes/food were on the over oily or over salty side.
Friendly staff and clean restaurant but very average food I only got some appetizers this first time just to test the restaurant out the fried prawns were pretty good but I'm almost certain that the egg rolls and pot stickers were just a store bought frozen brands, also I don't even feel like I got enough for what I paid for. That was a really light bag for $30! I'm going to go back to test out a couple of entrees, hopefully those will be better.
So delicious food and a fantastic menu. So many possibilities are available. Everything with chicken is always great!
This place is consistently great. Great food, quick service. Love this place.
Dont be like me and let the prices and Google reviews make you want to try this place. Head to yelp for much more accurate reviews. My partner and I were nearby and starving so we ordered the peking duck buns, vegetable chow mein, honey pepper scallops, and general tso 's chicken for pickup. First red flag: if you 're someone who wants your cashier and cook wearing a mask during a pandemic, or at least pretending like they care and putting them on when you walk through the door, this isnt the place for you. Not a mask in sight. Anyway, I get my bag and should have know by how small the bag was that the portion sizes were lacking. The scallops especially were basically an appetizer, if that. Taste-wise, nothing was good...and I was hangry so the bar was LOW. My partner described it accurately when he said this all tastes like 2 day old leftovers. I 'm 90% sure thats exactly what we got. Everything was soft and barely flavored, like it had been sitting out for days. The general tso 's chicken was mushy and dry, scallops were poorly cooked and seemed like they threw some pepper on it to try to save it, and the the chow mein was...weirdly wet and not with sauce, just water wet. Honestly, I 've even had better 2 day old leftovers from fast food chinese at the mall. I really hate leaving bad reviews but you, yes you, deserve better than this food. Do yourself a favor and save your money. Order takeout from literally anywhere else.
