Don't remember exactly how we are here, but just remember to have an amazing time with a great music!

There is one thing that Madrone could easily fix that would change my rating from 3 to 5 stars: close the doors and make it warmer! Madrone is often FREEZING (mainly on weeknights when it's not packed). Ever since the pandemic started, they keep both doors open so a cold current of wind blows through the bar. Everyone has to keep their jackets on shivering while sipping their drinks and listening to music. It could be so much nicer if they just made it warmer. Otherwise I truly love Madrone, I just wish they would fix this one thing.

My only beef with this creative bar is that Motown Monday is actually just live disco DJ samples of soul tunes. They don't play original 7 inch vinyl or even the original songs at all. Thus it should really be called Disco Monday. Still fun. Still good drinks. Definitely not Motown.

UPDATE: 2 years later and this has not changed. MOM is such a wonderful experience. It's a Bay Area MUST!Went for Motown Monday. It was amazing. DJ Gordo Cabeza was amazing and the bartenders were helpful, fast and all smiles.

Good bar if you’re trying to go dancing. It’s pretty crowded but the music is good and the decor is unique. They charge cover at the door $15-$20) but they take Venmo
