Le Charm - San Francisco

I had a delightful dinner at this restaurant. I made reservations about a week in advance for the pre-fixe menu during restaurant week with a friend. The back patio is beautifully designed and peaceful. The service felt genuine, and the food was excellent. I did have a small issue when I wanted to order a second glass of wine; it was difficult to get the server's attention until we had finished our main courses, which was a bit disappointing. Despite that, I would love to return to try the regular menu.

I come from the bayou in Louisiana, and this French restaurant truly reminds me of home. In such a bustling city, I never expected to find such an elegant French dining experience. Normally, I take more photos of my meals, but I was completely absorbed in the moment with my husband. The chef was exceptional and made our evening feel magical. Dining at night is incredibly romantic, so be sure to dress nicely! I can't wait to come back to the city, and this time I hope to meet the chef.

Absolutely fantastic! I had a wonderful meal starting with the tiger prawns, which were surprisingly reminiscent of pepperoni, and the small but incredibly delicious escargot. The lovely bread served alongside was perfect for savoring the remaining garlic butter from the escargot. I then moved on to the flank steak and their special ribeye, both of which were incredibly flavorful and thoroughly enjoyable. I can't wait to return and try the fish—it smelled amazing from the table next to ours! Thank you so much, Mathilde!

Mathilde is an intimate french bistro that I'll definitely be a return customer to. We wiped every single one of our plates clean. The servings were pretty big but the food was incredibly well prepared. Loved it.

Went there for dinner and had a fantastic experience. We ordered escargots and mushroom gnocchi as starters. Then for dinner we had the duck leg and it was perfectly cooked. Topping of the night we had delicious desserts. Service was flawless at all time and everyone there were very kind with us. Looking forward to go back soon!
