Excellent food. Want to go back and try more things

Lark has a very nice, almost glamorous ambience and excellent food as well. When every table is occupied it feels rather intimate in the manner of the classic San Francisco supper clubs. Our satisfying meal consisted of salads $14) and the mezze appetizer plate $19). The Greek merlot was quite drinkable and a good sized pour. Noise level went down considerably after party with one braying guest finished and left. Lovely serveuse. Tables are rather close, but I didn't mind overhearing our tech bro neighbors talking about ASICs, SoCs, and compilers, given the present economic climate.

I came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday with a small group. The food and cocktails were excellent, with unique flavor combinations that I wasn’t expecting even though I’ve tried many types of Mediterranean cuisine over the years. Everything seemed cooked to perfection and there was not a single complaint in my party.The space was cozy and well-decorated, although quite loud between the music, conversation, and noises of drinks being made at the bar.The service was outstanding—incredibly friendly and thoughtful, really just above and beyond. Our main waiter was a man with a moustache—I wish I’d gotten his name, but hope he reads this and gets credit for his excellent service and friendly manner. Give that man a raise! A young woman with dark hair also waited on us and was also excellent. She gave us some great explanations about the menu.

An hidden little gem! Food and service is A1. Definitely recommend if you like Mediterranean food
