King Of Thai - San Francisco

King of Thai has finally updated its interior, stripping away the dark purple walls and giving the place a fresh remodel. Gone are the days of feeling like you're dining in a dim garage. The new flooring and light fixtures really brighten up the space. I ordered the garlic wings, priced at $12 for a set of six. They smelled amazing and tasted equally fantastic, especially when paired with a unique sweet soy sauce that had green onions and ground pepper mixed in. However, the crab fried rice, which cost $15, was quite bland. I had to add a significant amount of hot peppers to give it some flavor and avoid the paste-like taste. The service was satisfactory, and my food was served quickly.

I had a lovely lunch here with my wife today. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was perfectly seasoned and tasted fantastic.

I absolutely love this restaurant! It's always my first stop whenever I'm in San Francisco. I've been coming to this place for over 15 years, and it still serves some of the best street Thai food around. The dishes are simple, traditional, and incredibly tasty. It's definitely a must-try! On this visit, I ordered the Pad Kee Mao and spicy eggplant, and they were fantastic.

Came here spontaneously and glad we did. Very good “hole in the wall” type place with great prices! The food came out very fast, within 10 minutes of ordering. Great service, very friendly people. Definitely would come back!
