Johnny Doughnuts - San Francisco

Initially, I had doubts about the vegan donuts at this restaurant being made with sweet potato. However, my opinion quickly changed after trying them. I highly recommend them! The only downside is that they sell out of vegan donuts quickly. You can call ahead and request to have one reserved for you.

This place is fantastic. I have tried their vegan donuts and shared a chocolate sweet potato donut with my friend, and it was delicious. I can't wait to try all the flavors. However, my experience was marred by the rude comments made by the staff suggesting that the vegan donuts were not as good as the regular ones. They also only offer three vegan flavors compared to ten non-vegan options. I was disappointed by the quality of the donuts, as the vanilla one was not good and the chocolate one was only decent. The loud dubstep music playing in the shop made it difficult to study. Overall, my experience was not great and I have had better vegan donuts in other places.

This bakery offers three different vegan donut options: one with chocolate, one plain, and one with sugar icing. They may not be clearly labeled at the counter, but if you ask the staff, they will show you. The donuts are large and perfectly made - not overly greasy or sweet, but decadent enough to satisfy your cravings. Two of these donuts are enough for a satisfying breakfast.

They sell out super early on the Vegan ones so don’t wait

Amazing coffee and doughnut shop in the Hayes district of San Francisco. They have a huge range, and the vegan doughnuts are delicious! in my experience it’s good to get in early for the vegan doughnuts as they sell out fast. Loved the music choices being played. Coffee is good too, but the doughnuts are better !!
