We accidentally left our keys and credit card on the table, but the staff quickly ran out to return them to us. The food was excellent and the service was super friendly. Overall, I would give it a 5/5 rating for the food and service.
The food at this restaurant is delicious. We ordered the bulgogi, which had the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The cutlet was a large portion of food with two delicious sauces. The family platter may not seem like a lot of food, but it was actually plenty for seven people. Overall, everyone was full and satisfied with the tasty dishes. Food rating: 5/5
Came in for happy hour and Yelp reviews weren't far off place is reasonably priced (for SF) and the happy hour half of alcohol was a good deal. We split a chirashi bowl, and lucky 7 roll, and a chicken karraage. All was really good really enjoyed the chirashi bowl!
Fun little spot. By the time we were heading out the lines were growing. We had a Tiger Roll, Chicken Karagge and the Salmon Tartar. The Tiger Roll was the stand out. Seriously. For some reason that Tamago/Eel combo works so well. Great rice and one of the better sushi rolls than we have had in awhile. The Salmon Tartar was good, but, I'd rather have had the sauce as a drizzle than have the fish swimming in it. But that's me. With tartar I want the star ingredient to sing. The Karagge, I really wanted to like but it was the most lackluster of the three. So, I'd suggest other items.Happy hour came with a half priced pitcher of beer so that was fantastic.I'd love to go back (time permitting) but I'd just order sushi next time.
Great sake, great sushi, and don't forget the takoyaki! One of the best restaurants in the neighborhood, easily.
