Isa - San Francisco

I have been to Isa twice and both times were wonderful. First time with a big group of people for a birthday and second with my boyfriend. Food was delicious and servers were kind and friendly. I am coming back soon.Food: 5/5

Really good food in a pleasant and comfortable setting. Very competitive prices. Sweatbreads, duck breast, sea bass, and crab salad were outstanding. We will be back.

This was our third visit to Isa--and we have a LOT of choices in San Francisco for exceptional restaurants, but this is a gem to which we keep returning. The staff is friendly and helpful, the dishes arrive hot; we ordered appetizers and soup/salads and then main courses. One thing I've disliked in some restaurants is when you are hurried through a course--not so here. everything was timed perfectly, and the food was fantastic. I had the hanger steak cooked to perfection, the potatoes were crispy on the outside and melted on the inside, the zucchini was great--not soggy or overcooked. We'll be back!

Dreadful experience with a specific waiter just continuously bringing our table appetizers that weren’t ordered. Great food, just a shame that we were constantly fed dozens of dishes that we didn’t want. Left no room for entrees that we actually wanted, but didn’t have enough room to eat. Nightmare in trying to sort out the bill which was overcharged with a bunch of items that we didn’t receive. Terrible effort from one server.

I found this time the servers or staff to be rude disrespectful and inconsiderate 😏 I was not pleased by this behavior or how our food was presented or there lack of ðŸ˜
