Happy Chinese - San Francisco

The food here is excellent—truly authentic and delicious! However, the servers have limited English proficiency, which can make communication a bit challenging. Their duck, fish, pepper ribs, and chicken dishes are definitely highlights.

This restaurant is a great choice for dim sum and tea. The Ha Gow (shrimp dumplings), Siu Mai (pork dumplings), and Pai Gwat (spare ribs) were all delicious. If you're comfortable ordering in Chinese, you'll have a better experience here, as both the menu and the staff primarily communicate in Chinese. The Shanghai dumplings were decent, but the dumpling skin was a bit too thick for my liking. The WiFi works well too. We ordered four dishes and two teas, and it came to about $20 total.

This family restaurant offers amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere. Don’t let the slightly old-fashioned furniture deter you!

They have a lot of veggie and tofu options, which is nice when you’re vegetarian. Yet lots of meat options for my hubby. The food and service was great.

Came in here by chance. The food was great and communication in English was complicated but friendly and manageable. The food was very good! Def better that it’s current 3.x rating.
