Fuji - San Francisco

Food was just a step below authentic, but considering their price it was worth it. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The ambience was right for a decent meal.

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, played good music, and offered unique sushi rolls, however, the customer service was lacking. It took a while for someone to bring me a menu at the sushi bar, my water glass was rarely refilled, and my request to have all spicy sauces removed or served on the side was not followed. As a gesture of apology, the sushi chef gave me a complimentary item.

After being seated, we waited for almost 30 minutes before a server took our order. It took another 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive. We ordered gyoza, a California roll, Lion King roll, and a caterpillar roll. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the quality of the food. In terms of pricing, small rolls were $6 and large rolls were $14, which we found to be too expensive. Overall, the long wait time made our experience unbearable.

Whenever we walk into Fuji, we are welcomed with a warm smile and a friendly greeting! The sushi and Wakame salad here are top-notch. I highly suggest trying the Liger roll if you're a bit hesitant or new to sushi but want to expand your palate. The fish is consistently fresh and delicious. The Riesling we had was crisp and delightful. This restaurant has definitely become one of my new favorites! ????

I have been here twice now with my daughters and we enjoyed it both times. Both times we got the specials for lunch. Service is good and the food is very good. One of my daughters always wants Japanese soup and the other one sushi, in this place everybody?s happy!
