Frisco Fried - San Francisco

This was our go-to spot for delicious fried chicken and fish to take out. We especially loved their amazing sides like collard greens, garlic noodles, and rice and beans. The mac and cheese was pretty good too. Personally, I think their fried fish was superior to their fried chicken. Unfortunately, this establishment is now closed and has been replaced by a gumbo restaurant. Such a loss!

I purchased a Groupon and spent $20 on a cab ride to meet a friend for lunch, only to arrive at a closed restaurant (despite Google Maps indicating it was open). I am no longer interested in using the Groupon and will not be recommending this place to anyone. If you happen to be in the area, you may want to take the risk of dealing with their unprofessional business practices.

This is my favorite place to go for oxtail dinner! The food is prepared fresh when you order, so there may be a wait. I suggest placing your order 30 minutes in advance. The prices are reasonable and the service is decent.

I brought 12 friends here the other day. Boy. I am embarrassed. If nothing else for the bad customer service. They charged me $3 extra dollars for a dried breast. The mac and cheese is whack. Just all around a waste and I paid almost $30 for it. Sorry for my friends. These people actually wanted to charge me a $1 for a plastic cup!! A can of soda was $3. All round bad experience. I came there deep. We spent about $250 just on us. Sucked.

The food here was really damn good! Outstanding job, real soul food spot.
