Cafe Madeleine - San Francisco

I absolutely love everything about this place! The hot chocolate was incredible, and I can't even describe how amazing the triple chocolate cake was. Truly fantastic!

After months of trying mochas at every café between 8th Street and the Ferry Building, I've found that Cafe Madeleine's is my favorite! The chocolate whipped cream is the perfect touch!

This place has the best pastries! I ordered a birthday cake for my boyfriend, and the design was exactly what I wanted. The red velvet cake was fantastic, and I’m also a big fan of their cupcakes. They serve amazing deli sandwiches too. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly, and the service is very fast, making it perfect for a quick lunch. It’s definitely one of my favorite bakeries in San Francisco!

I LOVE YOU, CAFE MADELEINE!!! I often wish there was a Cafe Madeleine near me, wherever I went in the world. There was never a thing I tried there that I didn't like. And there are some things that I've only had here haven't been able to find anywhere else: like their Hot Chocolate/Mocha. They use actual Chocolate Ganache! As well as topping it off with Chocolate Whipped Cream, made in house, with the same Chocolate Ganache! You can't get anymore richer truer than that. And I miss all their Bar Cookies: Lemon, Brownie, Pecan, Raspberry! And they also have THE BEST Chocolate Chip Cookie; the perfect balance of crunchy chewy. Even their Tomato Soup must be tried! It's creamy has chunks of onion in it. Yummm. This is a family run owned business. There's no messing around in the quality here, be it from their products, or the people that they employ. There is so much love care here, you can feel it better yet you can taste it! I could honestly gush forever on every single savory sweet thing (because I tried them all) but have faith there's something here that will fill both your tummy heart. I miss you all so very much

Love this place! I had an excellent mozzarella and tomato panini and a chopped salad. Both days I arrived when they were clearly closing but the owner greeted me with a welcome “hello my friend!” And was happy to take my order.
