Big 4 - San Francisco

With its classic old-world charm, captivating atmosphere, and professional wait staff, this restaurant offers exceptional service at every turn. We have dined there numerous times, and each experience has been nothing short of excellent. It gives us the feeling of being part of an exclusive supper club and bar.

I wish they were open. I give it five stars based on all the memories I have from my childhood visits. This was our go-to burger spot, and no one makes burgers quite like the Big 4. Unfortunately, they closed down due to COVID and haven't reopened since. This was a classic San Francisco establishment, where the city's elite would gather to socialize, broker deals, enjoy incredible burgers, and see and be seen. The live pianist and other musicians added a touch of elegance that enhanced the experience. Whenever I stepped into this place, it felt like I was transported back in time; it truly felt like home to me. As of December 27, 2021, they still have not reopened, which is very sad.

Large 4 restaurant is a beautiful place. really nice eating, ambiente is perfect, rich and charming with a history. it's expensive, but it's worth it. the bar alone is worth a visit.
