This is my favorite restaurant, and I truly believe it serves the best authentic Thai food in the Bay Area. It's a charming little place, offering a wide range of delicious Thai street food. The menu has plenty of options, and the service is attentive and friendly. The portion sizes are just right, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it!
Now, let’s talk about the food: the menu is incredibly extensive, featuring over 100 options! We aimed to explore some new Thai dishes while also enjoying the classics. Here’s what we ordered, listed by their menu numbers: 1. **15. Som Tum Thai (Green Papaya Salad)** – Absolutely AMAZING! The fish sauce was fantastic. Rating: 10/10 2. **23. Yum Woonsen (Silver Noodle Salad)** – A delightful melody of flavors. Rating: 9/10 3. **48. Kao Ka Prow Moo Krob (Sautéed Crispy Pork Belly with Onions)** – The pork belly was crispy, though a bit tough. Still, it was delicious, especially with a side of rice. Rating: 9/10 4. **71. Pad Thai** – A classic dish that never disappoints. Rating: 10/10 5. **93. Sukhothai Noodle Soup (Hot Spicy Noodle Soup)** – If you’re looking for a comforting bowl to warm your soul, this is the one to get. Rating: 10/10 I would note that the spice level is very much in line with authentic Thai cuisine, so be cautious when ordering; but you can always ask for more peppers if you like it spicier. As for the ambiance, it’s very casual and laid-back, making it a perfect spot for catching up with friends. Overall, I would give this place a 10/10 and highly recommend it!
Came here on a Saturday for lunch with some of my friends. The place is pretty small, and it took a while to get our food. I was feeling hungrier than usual, so I ordered 2 entrees: a Pad Thai and a Kao Ka-Prow Moo Krob (Crispy pork belly with chili, onions, bell peppers, and fresh basil with rice). The pork belly was very crispy and delicious, and the Pad Thai was pretty good too. Definitely going to come here again if I'm in the area.
We stumbled across this tiny but delicious Thai eatery while riding a bus to Golden Gate Patk. Ed knew that Geary Street in the Richmond was famous for great world cuisine offerings and Boom! We hit the spot! She had her favorite Pad Se-Ew which was not very exciting to look at but more importantly one if the best I ever had . I tried the Hot Sour Shrimp Soup and I 'm glad I did. Broth was super spicy, ie very flavorful but not killer hot.
