Ambrosia Bakery - San Francisco

Warm neighborhood bakery full of regulars. Sandwiches and soups are great. I come for the delicious pastries, scones, and fruit tarts. I could gain 10 pounds if I lived near this gem.

Great pastries and Peets coffee what more can you ask for in the morning? Friendly staff and reasonably prices a definite stop when I'm in the neighborhood!

Gorgeous cakes super delicious. I ordered the Dream Cake and the Fantasia Cake. Very impressed. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Walked in and got a 6 inch fruit tart. Was delicious. Fruit has a sweet glaze on it so it's sweet but not too sweet. Tart has a nice crust. Fair price. Would go back to try other items in the future.

I really like this bakery. It has such a neighborhoody feel and the staff is so pleasant and patient. I've never felt rushed or pressured. The pastries both sweet and savory are good and I've not been disappointed. The drinks are alright, no complaints. Haven't tried the little lunch bar because I've visited only early mornings or late evening. I drop by often on the weekends, have picked up pastries for my colleagues and that isn't likely to change anytime soon.
