Smokin' Jalapeno - San Francisc

Oh my goodness! It's like wonderfulness exploded in your mouth! ???????? We got the smoked chicken ques., pulled pork and fried shrimp tacos with queso dip and it was AMAZING! I usually do not like or care for tacos but this place really outdone themselves. Also we had street corn that was cooked perfect and the mexi rice was not dry and all of it had amazing seasons!Thank you for amazing fresh food!

We enjoyed the brisket tacos (without bbq sauce). Tender brisket with no fat. The pico that came with the tacos was good. They serve salsa and chips, I didn?t care for the salsa served it reminded me of ketchup. Order at the counter and then your table is served. I would eat here again, it is more Tex-Mex than authentic which was expected. Clean dining are, the health score was 95 (I didn?t read the details).

The chips and queso were absolutely delicious! However, the food came out extremely quickly, which suggested that it had all been prepped and reheated. One person's meal was ready in under a minute, and unfortunately, it was cold and unappetizing. Thankfully, the staff was very accommodating and quickly remade the dish, which turned out much better! I ordered the enchiladas, and they were quite decent.

I give this restaurant 3 stars because the food is usually fantastic. However, I visited the Muscle Shoals location tonight and ordered tacos with pico on the side. They not only forgot the pico, but my tacos also looked like they were just tossed into the box.

I had lunch at Smokin Jalapeño during my first visit, and I truly enjoyed the experience. I ordered the taco combo, which included a Nashville hot fried chicken taco, a fried shrimp taco, street corn, and Mexican rice. The meal was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
