Good prices for a restaurant on Irving. I'd choose this place over Gao Viet anytime. Bun rieu, garlic noodles, and appetizers are also good.
We absolutly loved the food! Very nice people that run the place and everything we ate was fresh and good quality. Stir fried chicken and the spring rolls were great!
Another great Yelp find! Each month my best friends and I choose a different area to hike/walk in the city I am asked to find a restaurant nearby. This one was definitely a winner. The restaurant is very clean and uncluttered with a few lovely murals. We were greeted ever so kindly upon arrival the service remained stellar throughout our meal. I had the Seafood Crispy Noodles and my friend had the Sauteed Filet Mignon Beef with Garlic Noodle dish. Both were outstanding with generous portions and flavor. The prices we found reasonable. The Sunset is quite a busy area to find parking- we found a lot right around the corner
I've been here twice with my fiancé and family. It's so good.I have ordered their rice plate with beef short ribs, egg roll, fried chicken, and also their banh xeo.Their rice plate is hefty- it's definitely enough to fill a person up. The beef short ribs are real tender and caramelized well; some pieces have a bit too much fat on them, but you can't really control that. The fried chicken wings are delicious- they have a slightly sweet sticky glaze on them, it reminds me of San Tung in a way. The rice and egg roll are also very good too.The banh xeo is quite big (can comfortably feed a person, but it's meant to be shared), and is filled with shrimp and pork. They give all of the greens that you'd expect (cilantro, mint, etc), and their sweet fish sauce is delicious with it.I also have ordered their cafe sua da and Che ba mau. Their cafe sua da is good, it's sweet and dark. It's a bit more caramelly than what I'm used to, but I still like it a lot. The Che is also really good- the only bad thing is that it's in a skinny tall glass and they FILL it up, so I did spill some ice chunks trying to mix it all up.The service is really attentive and kind, and the place is spacious and clean. I really enjoy coming here!
The bbq pork and egg rolls vermicelli was ok, the duck noodle soup has nice aroma flavor but was a bit too salty and I couldn't finish it. The service was quick and server was nice. It's more like Chinese Vietnamese cuisine instead of authentic Vietnamese.
