I have family in town and thought it would be fun to take them to an old favorite. The number they have listed just brings you straight to a voicemail telling you to book through open table each time so that is what I did. I had a reservation for 5 people last night at 6pm confirmed. We arrived at 6pm to see a dark, dingy, very NOT open restaurant with paper taped to the door saying they are closed and to go to one of their other restaurants. So thanks to a false booking I had 5 hungry out-of-towners stuck at 6pm on a Friday at north beach with no dinner reservations. Beyond frustrating. If they have re-opened they clearly have not gotten it together yet.

VERY Tasty and folks there are wonderful in navigating around food allergies like mine to wheat flour but ok with oat quinoa rye!! Excellent location
They were not open. So I took a $20 Uber over there and had to find another place to eat at a peak dining hour… Very disappointed as I would not have traveled to North Beach if I wasn’t able to make the reservation. If you’re not going to be open, don’t take reservations
Small portions. Ordered the pork loin thinking it was the old wood fired grilled pork chop. The loin was small and over cooked. Mussels looked withered.
