It could be a nice restaurant to enjoy a night with friends if the music wasn't so loud... we had to shout to understand each
Service okay. Hated the eggs in vodka sauce as they were drowning in sauce. Liked the biscuits and gravy ok. They sat us near an open door and it was cold indoors. Will not teturn.
Mr. Digby's has quickly become our favorite restaurant for a date night out. We always grab seats at the bar to enjoy their inventive cocktails (my favorite is the garden gimlet), great wine, and good conversation. The people are what make this place so special. Every bar tender is warm, open, friendly, and just incredible, as are all the other team members at Mr. Digby's. We often also make quick friends with other patrons as this place simply attracts great people!! The food is wonderful as well. Mr. Digbys takes familiar dishes like chicken pot pie, and meatloaf, and executes them impeccably and in a traditional but inventive way. The halibut is delicious and I order the little gem salad at every visit. Although I am not sure it is always on the menu, they offer a special that includes the Digby's martini (a perfectly briny martini) and their wagyu beef tarare, yum. If you have not been, go!
Nice, old tavern style space with an excellent team of friendly and attentive folks. Cocktail were creative and delicious but the food was mediocre and nothing to write home about. More of a place for the basics or bar food than for an entree. Although the mussels were good, the meatloaf was mushy/soggy. Fries were really nice and desert was very tasty.
