Kyushu Ramen - San Francisc

This was our first time ordering from Kyushu Ramen. We ordered the tempura shrimp udon and miso ramen for delivery through UberEats. The tempura shrimp arrived still very crunchy. The udon noodles were nice and chewy. The soft-boiled egg was well-seasoned. The ramen noodles was springy. The chasu pork was roasted well with equal parts of meat and fat. All in all, good value for the portions. Will order from here again. Note to restaurant... would like to see you add spicy miso ramen as an option to the Uber Eats menu. Unfortunately, we're not big fans of spicy mala.

We walked into this place by chance. The ambiance is rather cold and unromantic, more clinical. The service was fast. The food was tasty. We had the Korean spicy kimchi beef bento box which came with lots of sides and a miso soup. The beef was tender but a little too salty. Not much kimchi atop. The soft shell crab ramen was great, but only one small crab. The broth was rich and full of flavor. They also sell lots of different boba teas which we did not try. All in all, a nice place to have a quick bowl of ramen. A little overpriced for what you get.

I tried the taro milk tea and chicken karage here. The chicken karage is actually not japanese karage but more like taiwanese popcorn chicken. The texture of the chicken was good but the seasoning was pretty one-dimensional and had overpowering pepper flavors (I'm pretty picky about fried chicken and after discovering my favorite Tawainese fried chicken joint, it's raised the bar for everything else). The taro boba was good but the boba itself could've been softer. I will say that its a fantastic price for a full sized drink with boba for less that $5. I would return to try some other dishes.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Servings were huge, boba is great, tasty food, and amazing, friendly service. Love!!

The service is really wonderful, the owner was super nice. The food was in really large proportions for the price, it was delicious. And the place is very clean, complacent with covid guidelines. My friends and I had a good time, you should definitely go try it.
