All Spice - San Francisc

This restaurant in San Francisco is one of the best. It has been awarded a Michelin star and deserves all the praise it receives.

We've eaten here before and didn't think they could do better but they did! The food was beautifully presented and the gnocchi was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The service was fantastic and the chef checked on all the tables. Also, the cocktails change seasonally and are really good. Definitely take any suggestions offered by the staff!

We went to All Spice in San Francisco to celebrate a double wedding anniversary with close friends. We have been to the San Mateo location a few times before and enjoyed the food and service. The ambiance of the San Francisco location is much better but with almost the same level of service and care (Shoshana makes a significant difference where she is the San Mateo location). We had multiple appetizers, main courses and one shared dessert. All cooked to perfection and served just right. We had champagne (OK) and a bottle of tempranillo (outstanding and reasonably priced) with our food. Chef Sachin's cooking and plating are top class comparable to any multi star Michelin restaurants. We'll certainly be back to celebrate future special occasions.

Great food, poor service. Two of three dishes arrived cold, waiter inattentive, had to call over multiple times.

After reading the reviews for this restaurant, I was beyond excited to enjoy a delicious meal for my birthday dinner. Especially after seeing this restaurant on service lists of amazing restaurant to try. Unfortunately, the food was nothing close to what I expected (especially for the prices they are charging). I ordered the sea bass for my entre and I had to send it back because I was unable to eat it. It had an overwhelming seaweed flavor that I don't think anyone could possibly enjoy. Besides the disappointing entre, the other food we had ordered was good but again, for those kind of prices it should have been EXCELLENT. I will never eat here again and will not recommend this place to any of my friends.
