Por razones de trabajo estoy en esta famosa Villa de San Fernando. A la hora de comer, mi buen amigo y compañero Jesús me recomendó este bar, donde me aseguró que quedaría muy satisfecho. Y no puedo dejar de expresar mi satisfacción y agrado públicamente. No es necesario ser un crítico experimentado y sofisticado para saber lo que me gusta: servicio rápido, ambiente muy agradable, tanto por la decoración como por la música de fondo y los clientes, cocina variada que combina platos típicos de la zona con otros sabores, buena política de precios, mesas en terrazas. En otras palabras: ¡VOLVERÉ! Saludos.
La calle Real de San Fernando, histórica vía de acceso a Cádiz, se encuentra en plena transformación con la apertura de la futura línea de tranvía que conectará la ciudad con Chiclana. En este contexto de revitalización urbana, La Posada en la Alameda ha reabierto sus puertas tras una amplia reforma el 1 de noviembre. Este restaurante, ubicado en un edificio del siglo XIX junto al Palacio Lazaga, ha sabido combinar la historia con una decoración modernista. A pesar de su angosta entrada, el local cuenta con dos acogedores salones laterales con vistas a la calle. Es conocido por su especialidad, el Solomillo relleno al estilo de 1810, elaborado con los tradicionales ingredientes de la zona: pescado y marisco de estero. Aunque originalmente una posada, La Posada se ha convertido en una cervecería de moda, atractiva para una clientela variada.
