J J's Mexican Food - San Diego County

Been eating Mex food 40+ years, BEST SALSAS I’ve had in my entire life!!! The habanero is the best, 2 insane red sauces and a great green sauce.Family atmosphere, and the employees are truly good people.I was gone from Diego almost 20 years (big mistake! , moved back and said I’d try every shop in the county looking for the best salsa, because all I eat it taquitos, so it’s all about the salsa. J+J’s was my 3rd shop, I’ve been to no others since, this IS the joint!!!

This was the smallest machaca burrito I have ever seen at a restaurant.

I was charged $6 extra for guacamole on my 3 beef tacos pretty expensive but food was good
