Yesterday I tried the vegetables and vegetables vindaloo. The vegetables were super tasteful, and I enjoyed the mint Chutney who came with him. The vegetables Vindaloo was also very tasty, and I loved the large pieces of potato. I went with a non-Veg person, and they gave us only one rice to share, but there was no problem; I just asked for another spoon so we could separate. This was the Hillcrest location, but they assured me the (v) was vegan. Even when I asked again, I found some appetizers (vegetable pakora, vegetable samosas and papad) that were vegan without being marked. The staff seemed to know vegan when you explicitly asked about a particular dish. I feel that some of the vegetarian dishes could be modified to vegan, but I didn't push much. There are definitely many Veg options though!
All it needed was a call and they easily told us all the dishes that could be made vegan (which is a ton of dishes btw). Ordnete den Tofu-Saag, Aloo-Saag, Coconut-Curry, Chili-Kartoffeln, Momo, Samosas and pakoras, all INCREDIBLE
One of my favorite spots on loma. The servers are very friendly and now that their menus list vegan / vegetarian options, eating them is easier than ever.
I am a vegan of over three years; my body is very sensitive to milk and if I ever accidentally eat some I become sick. when I first asked what the vegan options were the server seemed very well known, but when the food came, my Roti served to touch the buttered naan. I asked her to make a new one and declare that I'm a vegan, but my stomach tells me that there's a lot of butter on my Roti. my cutlery and napkin were also dirty, which is disturbing. my meat eating friends were happy with their meal. On the other hand, I suffered three days with illness. NOT RECOMMENDATIONS for VEGANS. I won't return if I'm ever in the SD area for my health.
I am a vegan of over three years; my body is very sensitive to dairy and if i ever accidentally eat some i get sick. when i first asked what the vegan options were the server seemed very knowledgable, yet, when the food came, my roti was served touching the buttered naan. i asked for them to make a new one and again explained that i am a vegan but my stomach tells me that there was lots of butter on my roti. my silverware and napkin were also dirty which is worrying. my meat eating friends were happy with their meal. i, on the other hand, suffered for three days with sickness. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR VEGANS. i will not return if i am ever in the SD area for the sake of my health.
