After we had asked many tones, we finally got our food at 7:25. we pushed it. our server (beamer) was great and gave us a free round and a discount on our bill. she was the best part of this restaurant. overall, eating was not worth the stress and waiting and we will not return. but I would like to find our server beamer somewhere else!
It was my wife's birthday, it was actually something we were planning a past. we are from new yorkund that felt like home because it remembers our homeland. the food was great, the drinks were brilliant, the customer service felt as if it were family to talk to the property. it will definitely be one of the best times here on the west coast we had. we will make this a continuous start. this is something that should be on every person the list of Caribbean that should be living on the west coast buck liste.
I loved tropenseide! I am so happy that I finally left. my friends loved it too. our waitress was also amazing!
I stumbled upon this restaurant while walking down 4th Avenue and was immediately struck by its Caribbean vibe. As someone of Trinidadian and Caribbean descent, I felt compelled to check it out. This place is truly unique; there’s no other Caribbean restaurant like it. The prices were reasonable, and I wouldn't hesitate to pay more for the oxtail dish I had, which came with red beans and rice. I even ordered a rum punch to enhance the experience. The music complemented the atmosphere perfectly, making me envision a lively dance club on weekends and the sounds of a steel pan player during the week. This restaurant has the potential to become the go-to Caribbean spot in downtown. I’m thrilled it exists for those who appreciate the culture, spices, and music of the real Caribbean.
I wasn't sure what to expect when we entered, but the restaurant is beautiful and clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We ordered yuca frita, mofongo, los tres golpes, and two mojitos, and everything was excellent. The presentation of the food, the decor, the flavors, and the quality were all amazing. We are definitely going back! Our server, Juanafer from the Dominican Republic, and Jeremy the bartender provided fantastic service. We also loved the prices and the variety of Caribbean cuisine offered. I'm so glad to have found a place to satisfy my cravings for Caribbean food!
