Some of the best tacos that I had in the downtown area. Al pastor was delicious but Cameron (spicy shrimp) was average. They have a small seating area and it gets pretty crowded. I?d have given 4 stars but the cleanliness in the dine-in area could really be improved. There was no one to clean up after each party leaves the table, which led to us cleaning the table ourselves.
I love the tacos here! My husband and I have an assortment to try as well as the Elotes. Everything was delicious, but the Elote was honestly my favorite. I also really liked the self-service salsa bar that contained pickled onions, carrots, etc. I look forward to coming back next time I'm in SD!
The best Mexican food I ever tasted in the USA. I lived in NYC, but I couldn't find Mexican restaurants that are better than these. I order a few tacos and a burritos. I like the shrimps, it tasted delicious with the green sauce. I actually revisited the place the next day because I'm in it. You need to wait 10-15 minutes when it is during peak times.
Solid taco stand with a decent amount of protein variations. I got carne asada, pastor, fish, shrimp tacos. The Cali burrito was good and reasonable size (not huge like a newborn baby). The reason why I have to lower this to a 3 is because the corn on the cob was possibly the worst I have ever had. The corn was mushy and kernels limp. Too much lime. It was basically a soggy and old lime stick. The pastor was not very good either. They had a spit but did not use it and the pineapples tasted like canned pineapples. So just don't get the corn and the pastor and you're good.
