The Cork And Craft - San Diego

The Cork and Craft is fantastic! We have dined at many excellent restaurants in San Diego but this experience was truly exceptional. We were celebrating a special birthday and the manager, Sean Renard, suggested their Abnormal wine or beer pair dinner. I opted for the ten-course wine pair, which turned into eleven, and Chef Scott Cannon even accommodated my dietary restrictions. The dishes were incredibly creative and delicious, with perfect harmony in flavors and textures. The service was attentive and the staff made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. The presentation of each course was done with precision and accompanied by informative discussions about the ingredients and wine pairings. The menu also offers comfort food options and the rustic design of the restaurant adds to its charm. Kudos to the team at The Cork and Craft for delivering a top-notch dining experience with innovative and tasty dishes.

The staff at this restaurant was incredibly friendly. When I showed my ID for a beer, they immediately noticed it was my birthday and wished me a happy birthday. The beer menu was extensive. When I was ready to dine in the seating area, the staff quickly seated me and took my order. I ordered the mac and cheese and the short ribs. Both dishes were delicious, with the short ribs melting in my mouth. To top it off, they brought out a plate with a small birthday cake and a complimentary drink that was perfectly paired with it. I will definitely be returning for dinner and highly recommend checking this place out.

We went to a late lunch with a small group from work. Everyone working there was very friendly, and we were seated immediately. The food and drink menu looked great. We initially received the lunch menu, but then it was taken away as it was already 4:00 pm. We randomly ordered different salads, but upon their arrival, we realized they were overpriced. Two of us added chicken to our salads, which cost an additional $8.50 on top of the already pricey salads. The chicken was overcooked and dry. We ate it anyway because we didn't want to wait for a replacement. The other two Caesar salads seemed to be well-prepared and tasted fine. The server suggested some amazing non-alcoholic garden-style sodas to us, which were fantastic. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant were great, and they had a variety of beers and hard kombucha available. Since we arrived late for lunch, we didn't try any entrees, but hopefully they are better than the salads. Overall, the place had a nice atmosphere, but they need to work on the quality of their food.

It was okay. I wanted to give 3 stars, but I have an extra for them in the ability to absorb my diet requirements. the bulgogy pommes were actually delicious, but my burger was tasteless to ask the point I started to ask if I had covided. but I could just taste everything else well so that maybe a little salt and pfeffer could have fixed this situation. the flatbread was also quite good, but nothing to write home. so they just have the season of the burgers a bit and that will be a legit 4 stars

Small portions, expensive and eating was not particularly good. we had asked for sitting on the terrace when we made the reservation, but didn't know it was so cool in the night. we asked to sit inside when we arrived for our reservation, as there were several unoccupied tables. you said it would be the terrace or possibly the bar if there were any open seats in the bar area. we landed outside on the terrace next to the parking lot, although it unoccupied tables throughout our entire meal. Don't do it!
