Subway - San Diego

I had a fantastic experience at Jamaica! The visit was incredibly enjoyable, and the staff made us feel very welcome. I will definitely return to this location solely because of the outstanding customer service!

I haven't encountered many problems at this restaurant. The service is excellent, the staff is kind and friendly, and the food is delicious. However, I've recently noticed that they have changed their hours. They used to be open 24 hours, and I'm not sure if they're struggling to fill late-night or early-morning positions, but this change has disappointed me. I work overnight shifts and would frequently stop by for a sandwich, even if it was an unusual hour for that—like 2 a.m. The last time I visited, I was let down to find out about the new hours, as I wasn't aware of the change. Unfortunately, I had to take my business elsewhere. I hope they eventually return to being open 24 hours. The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 rating is that they are no longer open around the clock. It was nice to have the option of a sandwich instead of a burrito every once in a while.

After the gym, I went to order food and waited inside, but no one came to assist me. It felt like the place was abandoned—super dirty and chaotic. I couldn't relax with so much going on.

The sandwich maker who served me today gave me a bit of a glare when I requested extra pickles. There were six people waiting behind me, and he didn't seem very friendly. He was on his own. On the bright side, they do accept some great coupons.

I’ve noticed that the customer service here has really declined. I visit twice a week, but today I left because of the attitude of the “sandwich artist” – a young girl I had never seen before. I don’t know her name, which is the only way I can describe her. I was the only customer at the time, and her demeanor really put me off.
