Solare - San Diego

We have beer with a bad eating or even moderate eating in solar. this was our first eve for a “Nice dinner” since covid (not count fast eating, ordering in, outside breakfast/lunch). excellent squash blossoms and risotto with black truffles and skallops, butternut squash suppe and tinten paste with inkfish and crush tomato. beautiful ambiente, one of our favorites.

We had dinner here at two nights. eating was amazing and maria was a great hostess. will definitely be back here when we visit our family again!

From them on the search for a raised Italian place, that is their place. the free brot is excellent, the entrees for us were excellent, we split a caesar salat, our entrees were both vegetarian, risotto tartufo e capesante with shijitake mushrooms instead of scallops and the other entree was pici co’ brici. had a glass vino or two of a sangiovese varietal. we have been working on a free dessert of tiramisu, yum! our server was excellent and he has been working there since the 1st day with the first owner. we will return!

Best Italian Vino list anywhere. great family restaurant. all have to try.

Excellent Wine selection! We ordered from the Al la cartel menu, it was outstanding. A perfect way to celebrate our 40 th anniversary
