Philz Coffee - San Diego

This morning, I came to Philz to work. I love to work in the coffee shops, I love the ambient noise, the coffee smell, and the general atmosphere there. It makes me feel positive, bright, and full of energy. Overall, this Philz gives me that feel and I came often. BUT this morning, I noticed an extra loud sound coming from baristas, not sure from which action specifically, but it just felt that there is an unnecessarily loud metal utensil banging sound they generated when making coffee. Probably it's a part of their washing process. It gives me a shock from time to time when that loud bang happens. Maybe I'm too sensitive. But around 8:30 to 9:19 this morning, it's happening pretty intensively!

My go-to coffee shop. Lines are usually very long but it moves very fast. They come up with new coffees to make you interested and keep coming back. Service is five-star. Lots of fond memories for me here. Def a local favorite. Plenty of parking.I ordered the new drink Sweet Harmony , which is made with Unity cold brew, muddled mint you can see from the picture , sweet cinnamon, and creamy oat milk. I love this drink. Will order again before the season ends. It gives a good kick with the mint, cinnamon combo. Very creative.The last time I was here, I ordered the Philtered Soul . Love the mane, so catchy and much needed for me , LOL. If you love Hazzlenut flavor, you probably would like this drink. Worth a try.The deco is very modern and colorful. High ceiling and spacious.

Very friendly service. This coffee shop is clean and presentable. Upholstery and out door seating is clean and sanitary. Please consider have your next cup of coffee here!Food: 5/5

Came here after my husband really said so much good stuff about it. I wasn't really going for a coffee that time but I ended up having so much of his. It was the Mocha Tesora.I love a good chocolate anything and the chocolate and coffee combination here was just amazing. Drink was also not too hot so we could savor this for a long time.Really amazing vibe on the inside as well. Nice place to just come and hang out all day working from here.

Great super tasty fresh, right on the spot pour over coffee made at the time of order. Had a medium roast that was a house fav. So tasty. Not bitter. No need for cream or sugar!Food: 5/5
