Pappalecco - San Diego

The owners of Pappalecco must be doing something right as almost everyone loves this place. Their Gelato and coffee (espresso) are especially delicious, with my personal favorite being the coffee Gelato with chocolate syrup and the Affogato, a combination of Gelato and coffee. Another must-try specialty is the Shakerato, which is both visually stunning and delicious. A hidden gem known to locals is that you can park for free in the building behind the restaurant in the guest parking spaces. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, often recognizing regular customers by name. The outdoor seating area is a great spot to enjoy your coffee or dessert while people-watching.

This little cafe is adorable with the option to sit inside or outside. The piano adds a charming touch to the decor. The staff is very friendly. The affogato is heavenly - the gelato is sweet and creamy, and the coffee is excellent. This is the best dessert I have tried in San Diego.

First time here. My friends ranted and raved about how delicious their gelato is. They were right very delicious! I bought my son a chicken panini and he loved it. The two men that were working here are very friendly and accommodating.

The food at this restaurant was all delicious and had distinctive flavors! The staff was helpful but a bit pushy with timing due to being on a time crunch. I would definitely give this place another try!

Great experience! We have been waiting for ohmycakecali to open a store front! And how exciting that it's In a great location with COFEEE ???? I have been dreaming of the pistachio baklava cheesecake goodness for far too long and it DID NOT disappoint and is a MUST try. I've had the BEST buns in the world before...and yes they are in the running to be the best in the world. Cinnamon rolls are my JAM and I will probably be testing and searching for cinnamon rolls indefinitely.When she only did pop ups my friend would pick them up and sometimes I would get them days later and they would still taste fresh and amazing. When coming into Pappalecco/ohmycake I got the seasonal pumpkin spice. I'm not sure if it was howit was stored or that the air was on quite cold and it hit my cinnamon roll hard or what because my cinnamon roll was unusually dry and hard and honestly not good. I've had the buns before so I'm hopeful it was a fluke and I will be back!Support this amazing business ????
