Przekaż informację zwrotnąMy wife and I love this restaurant. The food is always excellent and service friendly. I do have a comment about their new times of business however. They are not open on Sundays, and are not open until 3PM on Saturday. During the week they are open for lunch and dinner. If a person works during the week, and are not close to Mama Cellas, then Saturday for supper is the only available time to eat there. Seems a bit limiting to me and do wonder the reasoning behind the new times. ???
Great place to eat and have a date night with someone special. Great family owned, and the service was spot on. Amanda gave us service to remember. She was made us feel like family while we dined. I highly recommend this cozy restaurant for dine inFood: 5/5
It was a very nice quaint small Italian restaurant that serves excellent food. I had their fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and it was the best Alfredo I have ever had. Our waitress was most excellent and was a pleasure.Food: 5/5
I wish I took pictures but I was too happy enjoying the food! We got the Honey Lime Chicken salad to start and it was light, refreshing, and satisfying! Loved the mandarin oranges almost felt like an Asian Chicken Salad but the lime changed the flavors. Definitely a great salad to start with. Then got the Chicken Parmesean which was a huge serving! No skimping out on the cheese or marinara sauce and there were mushrooms to add extra flavor. The marinara was very robust and tomato y my hard to please dad was very happy with his spaghetti and marinara too. Garlic bread was crunchy on the bottom and soft on top...perfection. I love that this is a small business and shoutout to our server, Michelle. Super friendly and accommodating. Not to mention they played jazz music which set the ambiance nicely. Next time I'm back, I promise I'll take photos and add them here!
The posted Today 's Special was FREE ICE with the purchase of a drink. I wasn 't sure if this was an attempt at humor or the real deal I should have taken a photo of the chalk board . I didn 't ask, but based on a later request during dinner I 'm assuming it was real.We had a party of 3 diners, my first visit here but one of the others had eaten here prior to this visit. Two of us order spaghetti with meat sauce at $12.95 each. We were surprised to receive a bowl of about 8 ounces of noodles, plus meat sauce. My bowl had very little sauce and the other bowl had double the amount of sauce I received. I 'm not sure how the sauce is measured before serving, but I felt cheated.I didn 't say anything to the server, but I should have spoken up. My bad.My dining partner ate her noodles and had plenty of sauce to spare, so she asked the server if she could get a small portion of pasta to go with the sauce. The server told her she 'd have to pay for a full entree in order to get more noodles because Mama 's doesn 't have extra pasta prepared; WTF! I almost burst out laughing. Here we paying $13 each for something that would cost less than $2 to prepare at home and Mama 's couldn 't rustle up a couple of ounces of pasta. It was absolutely hilarious : and sad : at the same time.I 'm somewhat new to North County and I eat out at least 5 meals a week, but none of these future meals will be at Mama 's!
