James Coffee Co. - San Diego

James is an adorable (and very small) coffee shop. The vegan blueberry muffins are amazing, and the drinks are tasty too. I am not a coffee person, but my mom said her latte was good. My chai was delicious. They seemed aware of vegan options and confirmed the chai was veg-friendly. The nondairy milk options are almond and oat. The vegan muffins are blueberry and chocolate. They also have a reusable jar program which I love and is easy. Edit: last time I visited, my drink was (I presume) accidentally made with cow milk. I didn't taste my drink until I got home and was lazy to go back (my non-veg boyfriend drank it instead), but I would suggest double-checking before leaving. The staff are cool and friendly.Clean cafe and a vibe of high standards, which is reflected in the flavor of the drip coffee.Not a place to work inside. Cute patio for taking a break and enjoying your brew.I love that we can pre-orsee, with 24-hour notice, a box of drip to share with others.Quality tea selection. Great tasting coffee. Small location with only outdoor seating, but who needs to sit indoors in San Diego!Service: 5/5

You can just tell when espresso is high quality and this is the highest it gets. we got the honey cinnamon and the sweet condensed milk lattes. buss
