Giovanni's Italian - San Diego

We were in the city for a Christian retreat and did a Google search; they had 5 stars?. we had a party of 11 and each of us enjoyed our selection from the big menu. I am back!

I had the lasagne, my daughter had spaghetti and meatballs, and my wife had the chicken parmesan. my daughter hardly touched her, and my wife didn't like the parmesan at all. I tried and I didn't like it myself. I used the chicken breast that was flattened, here it was untouched and too thick. service was good. restaurant was cold tho.

My experience at Giovanni's was unforgettable. I was expecting a meal, but instead, I felt like I was transported to Italy. The pasta was rich and bold, and the garlic bread was light and fluffy. I couldn't decide which I enjoyed more. I had to stop myself from ordering dessert after receiving the check. Giovanni, keep creating the amazing dishes you were meant to make.

This place has the BEST food!! It was such good quality, the waiter was extremely friendly, timely and overall we had an awesome experience!! If you are in the area, definitely check this place out!

I highly recommend this place if you're in search of delicious pizza, subs, and appetizers. My favorites are the garlic cheese bread, sriracha fries, and buffalo chicken pizza - all made with excellent ingredients and fantastic flavors.
