Flight Deck - San Diego

Had a wonderful time. This place is great. Mellow and sophisticated. Amanda was fantastic and the food and drinks were delicious. Being right on the water is great and it's very calming and pleasant. I'll definitely be back

It’s lame that you can end up at the bar if you make a reservation. Please make a “bar” or “table” choice on Open Table. The staff was very nice, but clearly overwhelmed. We ended up leaving before we ordered anything.

My husband and I made a reservation to grab a few drinks here before dinner, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The bar was closed. The staff at the restaurant said the bartender never showed. Very highly disappointed and it looks like on Yelp this has happened to others.

Reservations for 7 people at Flight Deck Friday evening. Since my son is a Naval Aviator we thought it would be fun. The view is fabulous! The drinks were okay. The food was good. Unfortunately the staff were not friendly. We had the feeling the staff didn’t want to be there. As she brought the check the server apologized saying someone called off and she had a headache. Too bad because this is a great idea and could be a big hit in San Diego. Think they could add music. Maybe add a shuffleboard table to liven up the place. I hope it’s just growing pains.

Terrible service and our food was very late, not that good and expensive. The location is nice but not worth going due to terrible service. Our waitress checked on us once or twice as if she was doing us a favor. I told her that a party of 4 left because no one even greeted them or checked in on them and her reaction was as if she could care less. Another waitress tried to make friends at one table rather than do her job. The one guy who was running from the kitchen with food was the only one who seemed to understand his role. I would never come back with this type of horrible service.
