Flemings Steak House - San Diego

In front of the Hyatt Regency, next to Cafe Japengo. Good location. The decor, very much what you might expect from a steakhouse. Maybe a little too dark (geschmack sache) We shared a 6oz filet with a “spicy crab aioli”. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. A few things need to be tuned up, however. 1) 35 minutes is too long to wait for your dinner. 2) The loaf of bread was burned on one end. 3) The baked potato was burned on one end. 4) The tiny sliver of asparagus was raw. 5) The waiter tried to take our plates while we were still eating. Entrees priced between $25 and $40. Sides are extra from about $6 to $10. Excellent selection of wines starting from about $25.
