First Avenue Grille - San Diego

Great NEW Restaurant inside The Bristol Hotel at 1055 1st Avenue, SD, CA. The Bar, Food, Decor and Service are amazing!!! A Brand New Concept inside the Bristol Hotel located at 1055 1st avenue. Great burgers and excellent Prime Rib featured every Thursday evening.

What a huge burger<br/ <br/ This restaurant is attached to the hotel we were staying at. The place was empty but we got great service. We both had a burger and you could barely wrap your hands around them. Very juicy and great taste. They also provide room service.

It’s that time of the year again. I’m off on another one of my adventures for work, this time in sunny California. Sure, it’s not as exciting as my Euro trip in the summer but at least I had some friends in the city, plus my sister lives in San Francisco which was on my list of stops. First up though was San Diego where I found myself staying at the Bristol Hotel downtown for a conference. Seeing as how I arrived late on a Wednesday evening and my conference started at 9AM on Thursday, I had very little time to do any sort of exploring. You you know that means… hotel food. The hotel restaurant was called First Avenue Bar Grill and seeing as how I had very little time in the morning I figured that would be my only viable option.
